The Magic Fish || Book Review.

Hello everyone! How are you all doing?? How is life treating you?? I am just getting scared with the new change. I have like a thousand worries and one of them is my blog, what if I have to stop blogging, what if I can’t post once I go there?? (spoiler🙈). It’s the biggest change I have had in a while and that’s something worth noting. Well whatever it is, it is for the 1st of September! That is just 8 days away. Please pray for me and keep me in your good wishes and send me positive energy!!! Now that we have talked about it, let’s get reviewing, shall we???

•Official Summary:

Tiến loves his family and his friends…but Tiến has a secret he’s been keeping from them, and it might change everything. An amazing YA graphic novel that deals with the complexity of family and how stories can bring us together.

Real life isn’t a fairytale.

But Tiến still enjoys reading his favorite stories with his parents from the books he borrows from the local library. It’s hard enough trying to communicate with your parents as a kid, but for Tiến, he doesn’t even have the right words because his parents are struggling with their English. Is there a Vietnamese word for what he’s going through?

Is there a way to tell them he’s gay?

•My Review.

🐟This book has my heart and my soul! The storyline of this book was so capturing and beautiful. The writing style and progress of this story were really good but kind of slow. I got confused a bit in the middle as I found the transitions in the story a bit difficult to navigate.

🐟The one thing that took my breath away was the illustrations that made the story so damn beautiful! I loved them so much, half of the time I was just oogling them🤭.

🐟A small sweet book that has my heart.

So that is it!! See you all later and I hope you all are doing okay. Have fun!!!
