Before Dan, Abby, and Jordan ever stepped foot inside the Brookline asylum, its legacy of terror stretched far and deep. Enter the twisted world of the New York Times bestselling Asylum series with these three spine-tingling novellas starring supporting characters from the novels, available in a print bind-up for the first time.
In The Scarlets, Cal is drawn into New Hampshire College’s twisted secret society—one with a deadly initiation.
In The Bone Artists, Oliver tries to make a little extra money for college by working for a seedy organization that traffics in human bones.
In The Warden, a young nurse starts a new job at the Brookline asylum, but soon becomes suspicious of its unorthodox procedures.…
Be careful where you go digging in history. Sometimes the past is better off buried.

•My Review.

So there are 3 short stories in this Novella and I will review them separately to help you out. I would recommend you to read them with the books for a better understanding of the plot.
1. Scarlets (Read After Sanctum):
This book gives basic info on the cult organisation called The Scarlets and also introduces you to the new characters and helps you understand their feelings and emotions. I loved this book so much cuz it was as creepy as the main books. I got in-depth info on the characters and the book was short but seriously intriguing.
2. Bone Artists (Read After Catacomb):
This book talked about another cult organisation called The Bone Artists while introducing and explaining the actions of the new characters introduced in Catacomb. I was so damn intrigued that I couldn’t stop thinking about this book even after I finished reading it. It had a great storyline and mind-blowing writing.
3. The Warden (Read After Escape From The Asylum):
This book surrounds the Main Character/or the heroine of the book (for me) Jocelyn and the villain of all villains The Warden. It dates back to the time the asylum was in working condition and by the end of this book you will want to restart the entire series. I had to hold my urge so I know what I am saying. It was so great and so damn scary. It’s a novella but it ended up giving me chills, so if the books are a film this is a BANG ON climax to the series.
The novellas are connected in their own stories so read them all and you will find a small story in a bigger one. They are really great so do read them!!!!

So that’s it. I loved this series so much but now that I am done with it, I want to read more Madeleine Roux books. She just released her latest book called The Book Of Living Secrets. I can’t wait to buy it!!!
Until I see you again.
