Dan, Abby, and Jordan remain traumatized by the summer they shared in the Brookline asylum. Much as they’d love to move on, someone is determined to keep the terror alive, sending the teens photos of an old-timey carnival, with no note and no name. Forsaking their plan never to go back, the teens return to New Hampshire College under the guise of a weekend for prospective students, and there they realize that the carnival from the photos is not only real, it’s here on campus, apparently for the first time in many years.
Sneaking away from sample classes and college parties, Dan and his friends lead a tour of their own—one through the abandoned houses and hidden places of the surrounding town. Camford is hiding a terrible past, and the influence of the asylum runs deeper than Dan ever imagined.

•My Review.

This book was so fantastic. The main horror started from this book. There was the introduction of new characters and the old characters were developed really well in the book. My favourite was Micah and I loved him so so so much. The entire storyline was so strong.
The characters Dan, Abby and Jordan go to the same horror back again to find answers to the missing questions they have in their lives. As the characters try to find the answers it gets creepier and more exciting. I loved the entire story so much. The writing was so nice and easy. It was a flawless book. The new characters and the story about The Scarlet’s organisation were so good. The ending was so sad yet awesome. I was so excited to pick up the third book and was so glad I had the book with me.
Overall, I loved this book and Micah made me feel so many emotions that I can’t even tell you. My heart falls thinking about this book and the whole story had me going crazy. I loved the whole plot and now I can’t wait to get the 3rd book’s review out.
So that’s it, I am down and out reading books. I feel like reading more so that’s good news as I was in a slump and just got out of it. So until I see you next time…
