Hello, I am back!!! Missed me, I bet you didn’t!!!! 😹😹. Sorry, I am in a funky mood today. The day is going so crazy. Like since the past few days my life has been a mess but why tell you all that. All I will say is the THIRD WAVE is here. Another wave that will take closed ones away from us and make us feel helpless. I feel terrible about all this but France has 4th Wave already. Covid doesn’t want to leave and we don’t want our special ones to leave. So on this confused and emotional note let’s start this review, shall we???

I borrowed this book from my cousin to read. I have heard a lot about James Patterson and I enjoyed the book thoroughly. I will be reading more books by him soon, so come along people.

Elizabeth Needham, the tenacious detective in charge of the case, turns to an unlikely ally – Dylan Reinhart, a brilliant professor whose book was found along with the first playing card.
As the public frenzy over the Dealer reaches a fever pitch, Dylan and Elizabeth must connect the clues to discover what the victims have in common – before the Dealer runs through his entire deck.

•My Review.
This book made me a huge fan of James Patterson. The writing was so good and the concept was so amazing. I was intrigued by how fast the story moved and loved how a small part of the LGBT+ Community was added into the book. The characters were very well described and the book was nicely written with small chapters to make the book easy to read. I enjoyed the investigation and especially the ending. I couldn’t even imagine how extraordinarily the book was ended. The writing connected me to the characters and the plot immediately. It was a fast-paced yet full of banter kind of thriller with an intriguing plot. I finished the book in 2 days but I somehow felt like the book was predictable. I did predict some part of it and I thought that the suspense should have been built up better. Still, overall the book was like a ticking bomb that had me stuck to my seat forcing me to read ‘just one more chapter’. A really good read for all Thriller lovers out there.

So that’s it for today. I hope you loved this review. I will be back soon with one more review and hope you all are safe and sound. Take care and see you soon, until then…
