Hello, my dear weird friends, how are you all doing these days?? I am bored that’s my state these days. The wifi isn’t working and I have nothing to do except read novels all day long. Although it’s fun, I hate not being able to watch TV and listen to new songs online. Well as we all are free these days, I decided to try and help you all by giving you some great movies. I know this is the first time you have seen me do this but when there is no wifi all you can do is talk to your family. I talked to my mom and we entered into a conversation about THE GREAT HORROR MOVIES OF ALL TIME. Talking to her gave me this idea, so here I am with some movie recommendations. Now without any further ado, let’s get into it, shall we???
We all talk about books but what about movies?? I see very few people talk about them. my mom and I are very close to each other and talking about horror movies is the best thing 2 horror addicts can do. I have inherited the love of books from my mom and the love of horror, mystery, suspense and thriller too. Be it books or movies, they are always my first choice and my mom is crazy about horror movies so when we were talking, this idea struck me that why don’t I recommend some of her favourite movies to you all. So here I am with the top 10 horror movies that my mom loves. So Let’s start, shall we??
As these are my mom’s favourite movies, she will be the one to review them. So here are my mom’s reviews in her own words. She will talk and I will write them down. Buckle up people, you all are about to enter horror land.
Karen Davis moves to Tokyo, where she encounters a supernatural spirit that possesses its victims. After a series of horrifying and mysterious deaths, Karen makes a vow to stop any further deaths.
This is the best Korean movie I have ever watched. I remember watching it in Kampala with the lights on but it was still very scary. The acting, direction, production, graphics and storyline is just so unique I feel like watching it again and again.

After her niece, Katie’s horrifying death, Rachel, a young journalist, investigates a mysterious videotape that kills its viewers within a week’s time.
As far as I know, this is also a remake of a Korean movie and this movie keeps not only me but anybody who watches it on the edge of their seat. I love this movie so much. It has suspense, thriller, horror, murder mystery and some good jump scares too. It’s just mind-blowing.

Alex saves his school friends from death when he gets a premonition that their plane will crash. Unfortunately, they all begin to die one after another in horrifying ways.
This movie has a very significant message and that message is “you can’t escape from death.” Even today when I am on the road and there is a tanker carrying petrol or woods, I remember the scenes from this movie. All the parts of this movie are mind-blowing. I love this franchise so much.

A group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they, along with a fellow tourist embark on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil resides.
Oh, this is my all-time favourite movie. I have watched it 10 times already and as it just arrived on Netflix I will watch it again soon. This movie is so frightening that I am scared of nature and camping. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves hiking, it shows the wild side of nature and everyone needs to see it.

A group of friends stranded on the way to a football match approach an abandoned wax museum for help. But the events that unfold find them running from the murderous brothers who manage the place.
This movie is one of the most terrifying movies I have ever watched. It is very frightening and is full of dangerous scenes that will make your heart beat faster than you expect it to beat. This movie also has a really nice and beautiful story of the love of siblings when they are trying to protect each other. It is the best road trip gone wrong movie.

A priest and a novice arrive at the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun. However, things take an ugly turn after they encounter a supernatural force.
I watched this movie with Suzan and she kept jumping up and down because she was scared. The story and screenplay are awesome and the movie is also dynamic. I like how the story is written and the jump scares are planted in the movie. A must watch for all horror fans.

Three students decide to go into the Maryland backwoods to cover the mystery behind the Blair Witch incidents. However, they lose their map and things take an unexpected turn.
Blair Witch Project is one of the best movies, I have never seen a movie like this. Without the witch on screen, It still scares you so much. I love the story setting and the concept of this movie and it’s a must-watch for you all.

Josh and Renai move to a new house, seeking a fresh start. However, when their son, Dalton, mysteriously falls into a coma, paranormal events start occurring in the house.
Suzan and I both love this movie so much. This movie’s franchise is just a thrilling ride on a roller coaster for us. The story is unique and so is the concept. There are 4 movies in it and you definitely can’t say which part was better than the other. I bet you can’t differentiate between them at all. They are all the best and again a must-try for you all.

Chris, an African-American man, decides to visit his Caucasian girlfriend’s parents during a weekend getaway. Although they seem normal at first, he is not prepared to experience the horrors ahead.
It is such a great movie. It has twists and turns. It will definitely shock you. If you want to watch a movie about racism but still get thrills, this is the one. The movie doesn’t have any ghosts or any paranormal experience but it deals with a lot more than that. It is definitely one of the scariest movies I have ever watched. A must, must try.

Three delinquents break into the house of Norman, a Gulf War veteran who is blind, to steal his money. However, much to their horror, they discover that Norman is not as defenceless as he seems.
This movie is one of the finest and the most thrilling movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes sure that after the movie is over you never think of an old man as a vulnerable person. The twists and the turns were so scary that I couldn’t stop watching it (no pee break😜). You should try this movie before thinking an old man is vulnerable.
