Gauri || Outset Books Review [Paid].

Hello bookworms, how are you??? Long time no see. I have been super busy with college and assignments. The main news is that I am preparing for a Book Marathon so I will be posting little this month. I will be explaining about book marathon in the next few posts as I am confused on what it is 🤣😂😂. I am having exams in January and the second set of exams in February so I am too busy trying to ace them. Being in college is so exhausting!!!! By the way, let’s forget my hectic life and start this review, let’s go people.

Well, I received a paperback book by Outset Book Reviewers Programmers. I read the book and we had a book discussion on Saturday on Instagram and talked about this book. The discussion was great and it also opened my mind on new aspects regarding the book. So come along and let’s start the book review. Come on people.

I sincerely thank Sathya Sam and Outset Book Reviewers Program for providing this opportunity in exchange for an honest review.

•Book Description:

Author: Sathya Sam.

Publisher: Notion Express.

Genre: Romance Genre.

Chapter: 29 Chapters.

Pages: 260 pages.

Series: No.

Time: 5 hours 30 minutes.

Publishing / Published: 28th September 2020.

•Official Summary:

Gauri is an unpretentious story of a woman who handles the hurdles of life with courage and profound thinking. Her character is similar to that of many women we see in our lives. But what is different is the dramatic twist in the tale, which you won’t see coming.

The protagonist Gauri is patient and persistent, with an undying love and affection for her husband, much like many women in the country. Indeed, Gauri’s story is the tale of many women in India, who sacrifice their needs, desires and dreams for the sake of people dear to them.

This work of fiction is a tribute to every unsung woman in every household. A big salute to these strong women, without whom society will perish.

What can I say about this book??? It was a truly magnificent experience reading it. The book was nicely written and the storyline was smooth and easy to read. The author did a great job in conceptualising the characters and the characters’ development could be seen throughout the book. The book was a great experience for me. The best part was the ending of the novel as it was very emotional and touching. The story had many elements of real-life and the flow of the tale was very interesting. I was hooked till the end and can’t wait to read more of this author’s novels. Oh, I am trying so hard to not give spoilers but I must say that I loved Gauri’s character. Her strength and unconditional love for her family was so touching and Shiva, her husband, is such an idiot. I can’t help laughing at him but still, the book was wonderful. The Indian culture was described so beautifully in this book and the mentality of Indians when a woman can’t produce was shown so smoothly and elegantly.

The paperback version of the book was really nice and had easy to read font and the book was very interesting. Overall I loved the novel. I wish the best to the author and will keep my eyes out for his next novel. A must-read from my side.

So that’s it for today. I hope you loved this review. I will be back soon with one more review and hope you all are safe and sound. Take care and see you soon, until then…
