Hello my buddies, how are you this lovely morning?? It’s going to be a long day as I have everything planned out and I am going up for a readathon. I create my own readathons where I read all day and night until 5 am in the morning. I love reading so that’s easy to do. I am waiting for this disastrous month to get over as I couldn’t do much blogging and the recent events have had me depressed a little too much than usual. I missed a lot of reading and I have to be studying for my college soon so I will be reading less and less from next month. So to make up for it, I am reading a lot. Now let me not waste any of your precious time and just get along with today’s topic. So let’s start, shall we??

I am so much into reading that I can’t even think of the time I am not reading. Reading and watching TV are my two most common activities these days. Followed by writing blogs that I usually do while watching the TV. Life without reading was really boring when I had entered the disastrous reading slump a few weeks ago. I just got out of it and now I am super productive. So come along and see what I read last week. Come on, people.

Readers, let me explain the format of the post to you. I will first write about the books I read, then about the books, I am currently reading and then I will tell you what I wish to read next and then I will wrap up my week.

•What Did I Read??

Scooby-Doo Team-Up featuring Superman (Vol 2) by DC Comics.

I got this comic free on kindle and as I love Scooby-Doo, I didn’t give it a second thought and downloaded the ebook. I really enjoyed this book and it was so fun. I have decided to read all the volumes in this Team-Up series. I got only volume 2 when I first saw this book but then I got the other volumes too so in total this series has 8 volumes and I finished the 2nd volume last Friday. It’s a must-try for all Scooby-Doo fans.

Nancy Drew and The Clue On The Silver Screen by Carolyn Keene.

As most of you already know, I love Nancy Drew mystery books and collecting all these books is my dream. So I just got one book down. I have a total of 4 books out of 126 books 😞. This sucks right?? I will be buying a lot of books very soon but as far as this book is concerned, I truly enjoyed it. Like every Nancy Drew mystery, this one was also mind-blowing. I can’t say much as I have to write a review on this but I will say one thing. You should definitely read this book.

•What Am I Reading???

Scooby-Doo Team-Up featuring Batman and Robin (Vol 1) by DC Comics.

I am currently reading this comic for time pass as I am trying to stay out of my reading slump. I just finished 3% of this book. When I was surfing through kindle, I got this series 2nd volume free and read it so now I am reading the first volume. I haven’t been doing very good with my personal life and to keep me distracted I use this comic and trust me, it’s damn good. I have some hearty laughs and remember the old times when I used to watch Scooby-Doo on TV. This book has brought my childhood memories back🥰.

One Night @ The Call Centre by Chetan Bhagat.

Oh, this book… I must say that this author is one of the most popular authors in India. Almost all his books have been turned into a movie or series. This book has been turned into a movie too and I have watched that movie and I loved it so I decided to buy this book. I have finished 42% of this book and to be honest, the writing style is so unique, I am loving this book’s concept although the book is somehow boring but who knows maybe the second half will be better. I can’t write more as I have to do a special review for this book but overall I will say that this book is kind of nice.

P.S. I bought some new books and this is a part of those books so please wait for the book haul as I am still preparing it and it will be out soon.

Midnight In The Graveyard Edited by Kenneth W. Cain.

These days I have been avoiding the NetGalley books and I feel very bad doing that so I decided to read them. I am reading the oldest book I requested. I have been meaning to read this book but because of my exams and then the reading slump I didn’t get the time to pick it up but now that I have picked it up, I am glad to say that it is nice. I have only finished 8% of it but as there are different short stories in it. I liked the first 2 stories and I am looking forward to the other 23 stories. So let’s see what happens.

•What Will I Read In The Near Future???

Scooby-Doo Team-Up (Vol 3) by DC Comics.

I am thinking of finishing all the 8 volumes and this is the 3rd volume so I am very excited to finish it. I am in love with Scooby-Doo. It has been my favourite cartoon since childhood and I still watch it sometimes so I want to finish this series slowly just to have all the fun that I can.

The Experiment by John Darnton.

I had bought this book from a book fair. I am really intrigued by this novel’s story and concept. There are many positive reviews about it on Goodreads and Google. I have been looking forward to reading it since I bought this book. I have some really high expectations from this book and I wish to start it soon. It’s a 500-page book and I will be reading a big book after a really long-time so really looking forward to it.

A Murderous Tangle (A Seaside Knitters Society Mystery) by Sally Goldenbaum.

I requested this book on NetGalley and it got accepted. I am so excited to try a new cosy mystery. I have been waiting to try this mystery series for a really long time. I have heard of the Seaside Knitters Society Mystery series and I am super excited to see how it is. I will also add this to the “Should Buy Series” if I like it. So let’s see what happens.

So these are my WWW books, now off to weekly wrap up.

•Weekly Wrap-Up.

I had a normal sort of week where I read a little and watched a lot of series. I will be writing about my latest watched movies very soon. I did nothing all week except search for some topics for this week’s blog, fight with my dad and got some surprises ready for you all. I had a very lazy week and didn’t want to do anything as I was battling my sadness. That’s all that happened this week so I don’t have anything to say about this lethargic week.

So that’s it for today. I hope you had fun reading this post because I had real fun today posting this after a long time. I will take your leave now and be back soon with some crazy but cute posts so until then…

  1. I was too old for Scooby Doo, so never really liked it. But if your comics are giving you pleasure, that’s fine with me, Suzan.

    1. Scooby doo always had a special place in my heart. In Africa, both my parents used to work and I used to stay alone at home till 10 pm at night, during that period my only hope of not getting scared to death was Scooby doo. It soothes and calms me down real nice and now that I have fallen terribly ill, it is helping me a lot. 💖✌😊
