MY BESTIE’S FATHER || SHOCKING NEWS.

Hey, people. This is a really tiny post. I just wanted to inform you that I won’t be posting for a few days as I just received terrible news. So let me just tell you what happened.

My bestie Nupur and I have been friends for 3 years now. She called me 2 days ago and we had a chat where she told me her dad was in the hospital as he was sick and his diabetes was fluctuating. They used to go to the hospital to get the drip bottle and then come home because of Covid-19. Then for 2 days, we didn’t talk and we both are used to this no talking phase so I didn’t see anything wrong in it.

Today morning when I woke up at 11:30 am, I saw a message of her cousin sister Dhyanvi who lives in the same house with her. That message said, “Call me Urgently.” The message was sent at 5:07 am in the morning. Dhyanvi usually knows that I stay awake until 5 am in the morning so she sent me this message but I went to sleep early as I haven’t been feeling well these days.

I panicked at this because nobody in her family wakes up this early and if they do, they don’t message me at 5 am in the morning, not Dhyanvi especially as we don’t talk much and having a message like this from her was a terrible sign of danger. I started having the tingling feeling in my gut so I called Dhyanvi’s phone number but she didn’t pick up.

I then tried Nupur’s number and she picked up and while crying, she told me her father passed away. That was it!!! The big terrible news. I messaged Dhyanvi and found out that he was recovering from his illness but yesterday night his state deteriorated and when they were taking him to the hospital in the ambulance, he passed away from a sudden heart attack.

This is terrible people. Extremely terrible. He was a really good and gentleman. I am shocked and I have to be with my bestie. She is in her village that I am planning to visit in a few days just to be with her. I can’t blog and talk anymore as this was the only stroke my sadness needed to take me into a major reading slump. I had some scheduled post for my birthday and some other stuff coming up but unfortunately, I had to cancel it. I will see you in a few days.

I am sorry to take your leave like this. Won’t be adding any links to follow or anything. Thank you for understanding and please pray for the family. Nupur is just 18 years old and she lost her father. Pray that she gets the strength she needs to overcome this loss.

  1. Sorry to hear this, Suzan. I lost my own father when he was 49 and I was 19. Life is short and we must make the most of it.

    1. It’s so sad Stevie. She has cut everybody off and doesn’t talk to anyone. I can’t bear seeing it. She loved her dad. I feel so sad. I hope she gets over it. The worst part is that we are in different places and can’t meet her at all due to covid-19πŸ˜žπŸ’”

    1. She has cut everybody off including me. I don’t know what to do. I can’t meet her because she is in her village and I can’t even see her like that. This is so heartbreaking Pete. My grandfather’s death was not enough for God that he even took my bestie away for me. πŸ’”πŸ˜ž
