Hello, my crazies. How are you?? How is your family?? Is everything good?? I know these are too many questions but what am I supposed to do?? The weather is very beautiful and it’s raining here. It’s so gorgeous, people. The sky is masked with grey clouds and the rain is heavy yet so delightful. It’s been so long since those droplets have touched the ground. It’s foggy and pretty. I love this weather and this time of the year so I decided to do a book tag on it. So come along and see me answer these questions. Let’s start people, shall we??

On a rainy day, I sit with a book on my couch that’s in front of the balcony where I can see the rain falling, a cup of coffee and a tiny bookmark are my sole companions. Reading each page of a book so magical that it makes the rain falling on the balcony door the most beautiful spectacle. The lightning sounds make background music to the living image of the book I created while the darkened sky acts like a projector to my imaginations that changes with the turn of each page. My imaginations grow wilder with the thunder and lightning roaring in the beautiful rain. What’s better than a rainy day for a bookworm to explore a universe created by a book??
So with that tiny try of making a poetic entry into the world of books, I will start answering the questions to this book tag that I got from Google.
Come along.
Where do you like to read when it’s raining?
I like to read on the couch that exactly in front of the balcony, I really love seeing it rain while I read. It looks so beautiful that I can resist it.
Best book to read on a rainy day?
Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. The Green Room by Nag Mani
What could be better than reading the HP series on a rainy day? I am currently reading it and trust me, reading it with the rain splashing and thunder rumbling is the most beautiful thing on earth. The look enhances because of rain and then we have the Green Room by Nag Mani, oh my God!! Do I really have to tell you all how much I love this book? This book is my life. I have drooled over this book about 2 years and yet I haven’t found any book that could replace this one. It gives me a feeling no book can ever provide. Reading this book in the rain with a cup of hot coffee…😍😍😍, man could this time get any better??
Book with rain? In the book or on the cover?
Red Rain by R. L. Stine. The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson.
A book consisting of rain… I have none of them that matches the descriptions, well, not any that I remember except these 2. Red Rain is a book I wanted to read for the longest time ever but I never get to it. I wish I would but the thing is that this book is very expensive in India and there is no paperback available here. The price of Red Rain in India is $59.58 so I am not dreaming to buy it at all whereas, on the other hand, I chose The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. It has a scene in it where there is a storm blowing towards the hotel where Lisabeth Salander is living. It’s raining and the winds are strong. It’s a very nice and dangerous situation at some point. You gave to read the book to find out why but this book has a blasting rain scene in it.
Book that made you cry?
Us…Mostly by Laila Bhaidani. Find Me Their Bones by Sara Wolf.
As I said in my last post that Us…Mostly made me sob tears of pain. I loved the stories and I loved the concept. I did do the book review and will provide you with the link. I am in love with this and it will be in my most precious tearful collection forever. Whereas Find me Their Bones by Sara Wolf made me DNF the book on the spot. I was just at the beginning but I couldn’t read it any further. I cried while reading and the starting was so painful. It was the second book of Bring Me Their Hearts Series and as much as the first book was funny the second book was that much sad. I will pick it up again very soon because I want to cry and know again what’s exactly wrong with LUCIEN!!! WHY IS HE DOING THIS TO ZERA???
US…MOSTLY || GIFTED BOOK REVIEW.
Least favourite book?
The Time Machine by H. G. Wells. Almost Dark by Chandradip Paitandi. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling.
I can never choose my least favourite among these 3 books. I know seeing Harry Potter in this is like crazy but I just don’t like the feeling of Goblet Of Fire. I just hate the way Voldemort rises and the way things happen in this year.
Then we come to Almost Dark by Chandradip Paitandi. I must say this book sucks. I couldn’t even think of looking at this book ever again. I hate it to the core of my heart. I hate it more than I hate the devil. That’s all I can say about this.
The Time Machine just got into the hated list. I liked it but not so much to read it ever again. So yup, I hate it and will hate it. Sorry!!
So that’s it for today. I hope you like this post. Stay tuned because I will be back with many new and interesting formulas to keep you hooked until then…
