BOOKISH FRIDAY || READING TIME {6}.

Hello, my dear friends and readers, I am yet back again with a late but good blog. I am sorry for posting it late but I am in a terrible problem as we might be stormed in tonight. A cyclone is coming right our way and we have to take measures to fight it but keeping that problem aside, I am back with a great post. I have been dying to talk about the books I am reading today and to be honest, I am loving my reads and the progress is also quite good. So without any further ado, let’s start, shall we??

So here I am again. This week was a disaster on its own. Things happened and I was too busy researching blogs to read much but I did do a good job finishing up some books and starting some books too so let’s start, people.

Readers, let me explain the format of the post to you. I will first write about the books I read, then about the books, I am currently reading and then I will tell you what I wish to read next and then I will wrap up my week.

What I Read??

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling.

I finished this on Sunday and I had a blast reading it as Sirus Black is my favourite character. I live him and this book was so sweet and lovely. The review will be out soon but I must say this is my most favourite book. I can’t wait to reread it again🙈🙈🙈.

Stranger Things by Jody Houser, Stefano Martino, Keith Champagne, Lauren Affe & Nate Pickos.

As you all know that I love Stranger Things and I was dying to read some comics on it. I got this comic free on kindle and I knew I had to read it. It was essential. I downloaded it during my exams time and it is WONDERFUL. The story has the backlight of what Will was feeling when he was stuck in the upside-down and trust me it was an awesome story. Loved it.

True Ghost Stories by Jo Lavine (True Ghost Stories Series).

If you all don’t know let me tell you that I love horror stories and when it comes to paranormal stuff and activities, I crave for it. I don’t know why but a 19-year-old girl like me is bonkers on horror stuff. I enjoyed knowing the true ghost stories and paranormal stuff that happens around the world. I was so excited and this book did satisfy me enough. I am so glad that I read this book. I am so excited to try more of this stuff because it’s amazing.

Ok now people that’s all for what I read, come along to see what I am reading right now.

What Am I Reading???

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling.

Phew!! At last, I get on the bad part where Voldemort arises. This is the least favourite book of mine in all the HP Series books. I don’t like it because I miss school days in this and also because Voldemort comes back. I feel this book was stretched a little but who knows!!! I have only finished 23%of the book as I started it on Thursday but I am looking forward to finishing it this week. I hope I don’t go into a reading slump because of this part of the series.

Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift.

Ok, I can’t believe I am saying this but I love this book. It’s awesome. I feel like I am on a journey myself. No wonder people love this book. I have finished 63% of this book and I am so loving it. I will finish this book this week and that’s a promise.

Berkley Street by Ron Ripley.

I haven’t started this book yet but it is already in my currently reading list in my Goodreads account. I have been dying to read horror and now that I have the chance to do so. I want to read the best one I have so here it is. I am really excited to try this novel. I really hope I like it.

What I Will be Reading in the Near Future??

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling.

Yay, this is the third last novel in this series. I am dying to read it. I will take some time to start the series but let’s see how it works out. I am also very excited to meet Luna Lovegood. She is my most favourite side character because she is weird just like me!!! 😁😁. I couldn’t be happier as I am reading this series.

Lost Girl by Holly Kammier (A Shelby Day Novel).

I am not writing anything about this book. I am tired of informing people that I will be reading it soon, now I will just read it and inform you all that I am reading it. Sorry for the delay but Gulliver’s Travel took some time to get me hooked up to it.

Changeling by William Ritter (The Oddmire, #1).

A publisher contacted me to read and review the second book of the Oddmire series. She provided me with the first book so here I am reading the first book so as to understand the second book. I will start this soon.

Let’s Wrap-Up.

I had an okay week if I have to think about reading. I could only read on Saturday and Sunday. I finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as we had did on Sunday, then I was tired so couldn’t read anymore on Monday. I then saw the Tik Tok and Youtube influencers controversy. The controversy took a wrong turn and I decided to write about it. So it took me 4 days to research and write the blog because of that I couldn’t read as I had to watch a lot of videos and read a lot of content but I finished it and then I started reading again and almost got everything over. I also finished my book haul. So I had a great time. I will finish all these books soon and I am so excited for the coming week. This week and month we’re very productive and interesting. I

So that’s it for today. I will be back soon with a new post that brings a little more relaxing moment in your lives during this pandemic. Take care and be safe. Until then…

  1. That’s quite the lovely eclectic collection you’ve got. Gulliver’s Travels has always been one of my favorite classics so I’m happy you’re enjoying it. I know you have your hands full, but I do have a recommendation for you. The Princess Bride, by William Goldman. I think you’d really like it. Princesses, pirates, evil doers, sword fights, and lots of sly humor underneath it all.

    1. Thanks, Kim. I will finish Gulliver’s Travels by Monday and I am so excited. With each journey passing, I feel sad that the book is about to end but I feel excited too and When you are in love with books, you always make space for some more, especially if you recommend it. I have added it to my TBR and I will try to read it soon. Actually, after seeing the summary, I am dying to get my hands on it. 😍😍 after Treasure Island, I have been going crazy to see some more pirates. 😘😘 Thanks for such a great recommendation, Kim.

      Take care, Kimmy. ❤✌😊

  2. I am so happy that you changed your mind about Gulliver’s Travels. I always loved that book, and it should never be forgotten that it was first published in 1726! 🙂 🙂
