BOOKISH FRIDAY || READING TIME {4 & 5}.

Hello, my worldly people. Welcome to my world of books. Today your writer feels like doing salsa dance or Chandra, you know Waltz will do too. Now I will first go and dance then be back. Ok, I am back with some good news and a lot more bookish stuff so today I won’t waste time. Let’s get started earthlings.

Last week I couldn’t do the Bookish Friday post because of a special prayer event of Ramadan that I participated in. It is called Laylat al-Qadr. I won’t be explaining anything about it, if you want to know then you will have to search for it and my health hasn’t been good enough to permit me to daily blogging. So here I am with the 2 weeks post. I will be adding it all up to give you proper knowledge of what I read in these 2 weeks. So let’s start, people.

Readers, let me explain the format of the post to you. I will first write about the books I read, then about the books, I am currently reading and then I will tell you what I wish to read next and then I will wrap up my week.

What I Read??

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling.

Last week I finished the first novel of the Harry Potter Series. It was amazing. I am having a blast reading these books. I don’t know what I should write about these books in the reviews so I am wondering when to start reviewing them. I will start reviewing maybe next week or the other one.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling.

Well, it wasn’t so hard to get me hooked to Harry Potter. It’s one of the best series on earth so I finished this book last Sunday, it was just a 2 sitting read for me because I was hooked with reading it. It was so much fun that I don’t have words to express. My Goodness!! It is going to be a disaster when I will start writing these books’ reviews. 🀯

Quidditch Through The Ages (Kenilworthy Whisp) by J. K. Rowling

Well, this was an easy one to finish too. Small yet informative. I finished it quicker than I thought and obviously, I loved it. I finished this book last week with the first book of the Harry Potter series. I mean it is great. I will be posting a triple review post regarding the Hogwarts Library Collection that includes 3 books namely; The Tales of Beedle The Bard, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through The Ages. So wait for the review to get to know more about these books.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Newt Scamander) by J. K. Rowling.

I just finished this book on Tuesday. It was quite awesome with a lot of information on the wizarding world and the animals it has. I have to say this that J. K. Rowling is a genius with a magical brain. I will be adding this book’s review with the Triple Book Review Post.

What Am I Reading???

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling.

I am halfway through this book already. I am loving this book and it is so good I am dying to read more but these days I have been quite busy cleaning shelves and house windows for apparently no clear reason that I cant continue reading but I might read tonight. Goodreads shows that I am 54% done with the book so it’s great news for me. I will be finishing this book in the coming week.

Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift.

Oh, this book has been the least progressed book. I have been too busy reading the Hogwarts Library Collection that I couldn’t get to this book. I did finish a 100 pages of this book in these few days and to be honest, I am really liking it. It’s very simple and nicely written. I am aiming to finish it this week so let’s see what happens.

What I Will be Reading in the Near Future??

Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire by J. K. Rowling.

I will be finishing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by today or maybe tomorrow night. I am aiming to finish this book too this week. I want to read more and work less this week. Well, that doesn’t seem to happen much but let’s see. These books are very relaxing and good. I feel so refreshed these days. I am at last feeling normal

Lost Girl (A Shelby Day Novel) by Holly Kammier.

Oh my God!!! I hope this book’s author is not reading my blog. I have been saying that I will read this since I started Bookish Friday Posts but I can’t seem to get to it at all. I am actually in my ‘not happy to read this book mode right now.’ It’s especially for Gulliver’s Travels. I have failed at reading that book properly and I feel so unfair towards it that I am riding on a guilt trip. I will aim to finish this book soon so that I can read another mystery. I HAVE TO FINISH THESE 2 BOOKS!!!!!!!!! 😀😭

Ok so let’s get to the wrap-up party, people.

Let’s Wrap-Up.

To wrap up the other week was great…That’s it because I don’t remember it much and I did do a post on it a few days ago. If I remember right, it was a great one and I did like it. Now off to this week:

As I informed Friday I had a prayer event of Ramadan happening but the mention of Friday again in this week is because something happened. It was weird and odd at the same time. I was asleep on that Friday morning when all of a sudden I hear a Thud like BAM!! and when I rush to see what it is I see that the cupboard above my parent’s bedside has fallen on my dad. It’s literally on him not even next to him but on him and seeing that I scream loudly and my mom and grandmother rush in to see and help him out.

Now to the odd part, My dad wasn’t hurt at all. Not even a scratch. Not even a tiny tiny scratch. It was all clean and the weirdest part is that it was full of files and books of my grandfather; books bigger than the encyclopedia and still he wasn’t even in pain from the heaviness of that cupboard. There was glass all over the place but not a scratch on him. It was so weird that I couldn’t stop thinking about it. On that night we were to sit and pray until 5 am in the morning because it was the holy night of spirits when they came to earth to grant wishes and help their relatives. Trust me, people, it was super weird. Not a single scratch and not even a little bit of pain.

This week was great. It was my Mom’s birthday on Wednesday 20th and she’s a 42-year-old lady now. We cut the cake and bought a new TV for her as a present. It’s in their room and it was a fun week. I couldn’t read these 2 days due to birthday and Eid coming near. I am extremely busy and my health has deteriorated drastically. I am on medicines and I feel fine but not too good. I hope I get better soon.

So that’s it for today people. I had a weird and strange week but it was good. We celebrated, did the cleaning and are getting ready for Eid’s yummy feast. Biryani is coming😍🀀. So I will take your leave now until then…

  3. Your Dad was lucky. Perhaps your Grandfather was sending him a message?

    1. My dad was really very lucky and to be honest I kind of doubt that. Sending a message with a broken cupboard on his son, what would that mean?? Do you have any suggestions??

Thanks, Pete. I love HP. They are my life. Thank you once again, Pete. I hope I get well soon.

      Take care❀✌😊
