THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS || BOOK TAG.

Book tag, a good idea created by I don’t know who but it is a great idea to do when you are dead working/studying/dying of exam pressure. I really love doing book tags because they are easy and crazy. They bring out the hidden truth about a blogger because however much a blogger wants to fake something he/she cannot. Writing makes a blogger honest, even if they don’t want to say the truth but they end up telling it because we somehow turn to love our blog and adore our readers, so allow me to take you on another honest journey.

Hello and welcome to my blog: @Magical BookLush.

First of all, before I start this blog, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I am blogging after 7 days, a week, phew!!! I love reading and writing but I am stopped from that due to my future. But look at me now. I am so excited to write today. So here i am writing for you all a Christmas blog.

Ok, without further ado, let’s start blogging this post.

1. Anticipation: The Christmas excitement is real. What books are you most anticipating?

I am mostly anticipating classic novels. I love reading classic books and my this year turned out to be classy. I loved reading all the classics and I am looking forward to reading more classics next year. I actually decided to dedicate next year to classics with a touch of classic horror to spice up my life. So yeah next year is all classical. This year’s most anticipated books are:

George Orwell’s 1984.
Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
Potions are for Pushovers by Tamara Berry.

These books were highly fascinating and awesome. I loved the writing and story concept and overall everything. I hope to get more books next year too. But for now, these are the best and you should try them too.

2. Christmas Songs and Carols: What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?

1984 by George Orwell.
Potions are for Pushovers by Tamara Berry.

I can’t stop praising these books, their literature and writing skills are the best thing on earth. Their story concept is so good. I loved the idea of the writer especially George Orwell’s concept and the idea of forming the story was unpredictable. This book encouraged me to read more classics and now I look forward to reading more and more. 😍

3. Gingerbread Houses: What book or series has a wonderful world-building?

Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling.

Harry potter. As you all know that this book has been the greatest book of the whole decade and I cherish it more than any book. I am a Potterhead and when it comes to the best universe this is the best of all. I love the fantasy universe that our favourite J.K Rowling created. I adore only this universe although I haven’t read any other series but this one magical.

4. A Christmas Carol: A favourite classic or one that you want to read.

I am excited about all the classics as I am doing a classics challenge. After starting this challenge, I have explored many genres and I can proudly say that I wasn’t bored or dissatisfied with any of them. Reading classics helps me see the old literary skills and writing skills that I am very fond of. So I am excited to read them all. As classics, we’re picked from all genres, I get to explore all the genres bit by bit and that’s exactly what I wanted.

5. Christmas sweets: What book would you like to receive for Christmas?

Horror novels.

Horror novels are all I need. I love horror and it’s all I need. I am a master of reading horrors and don’t get creeped out much but this year I haven’t read horror much so I really want horror novels this Christmas. It’s really ma thing. I love it and if you want to courier me something let it be these books above. πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

6. Candles in the Window: What book gives you a warm fuzzy feeling?

The Green Room By Nag Mani.

This book is the cosiest book on earth for me. It’s a horror novel but it has a very cosy feeling and since I have read it, I don’t get any feeling like this book from any other book. It has such a true feeling. I can read it a thousand times, it’s that good. It’s just a sad feeling that I got in the climax. It’s the book I cried for after finishing it because I didn’t want it to get over. I wanted to know what happened ahead. I feel cosy with this book.

7. Christmas Trees and Decorations: What are some of your favorite book covers?

My favourite covers are;

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte BrontΓ«
Wuthering Heights by Emily BrontΓ«.

I bought printed copies of these novels and I love their covers. They are so cute and lively. As much as I hate romance, I loved the covers. Especially Jane Eyre cover is so good. It is actually so good and nice, it’s puffy and I can touch the girl’s shadow separately. I am really into covers and they excite me to read books.

8. Christmas Joy: What are some of your favorite things about Christmas and/or some of your favorite Christmas memories?

It really is.

I love just sitting and binge-watching some nice series or movies on my tv with a cup of coffee and some snacks. In Africa, I used to love the decorations my neighbours used to put up. All I needed to make my Christmas beautiful was a book/movie/series and coffee. I also received a gift on one Christmas, it was a book on the miracles of Jesus Christ. I really liked that book and would often read it. So yeah I love Christmas a lot. It’s a beautiful and festive season
