WWW WEDNESDAY, #2 || BOOK BLOG.

Wow, another Wednesday is back. I have been blogging very little and my life has been a disaster so yeah I am happy doing this WWW Wednesday post. It’s another midweek done and another week getting closer to the new year. I am dying for this year to get over because it was an extreme disaster for me. I will explain all this in my next post of life update. I am hoping to make it a video segment as I can’t write too much but let’s see.

So without eating further time as I am hungry and want to finish this before I eat words, let’s start, shall we??

Hello and welcome to my blog: @Magical BookLush.

As I said I am hungry so let me start without blurting any nonsense out. So here goes nothing.

1. What am I Currently Reading??

~ Christmas at the Chateau.

I just started this book. It was not added in the romantic classics challenge because I didn’t find it before but one of my friends recommended this to me. As it was only 49 pages, I decided to read it as a part of getting started with my cheesy challenge because I can’t tolerate it at all. I am 27% done with it and will finish it soon. I read very little these days. I have board exams coming up and I will be doing a vlog to update you about it soon. So this is my current read and will be done soon.

What did I Currently Finish?

~ The Great Gatsby.

I just finished this book yesterday night. I literally didn’t wish to finish this book as I don’t like romance and when I got tragedy in bonus, I didn’t feel like finishing. I deliberately left this book unfinished as I had got spoilers and didn’t want to read the ending. But I finished it yesterday night and yeah I cried. The review will be out soon.

What Will I Be Reading Next??

~ Pride and Prejudice.

I did a poll on Instagram asking which book I should read and Pride and Prejudice book got the most votes. It was a 2-day poll where the poll got the following percentages.

Day 1.
Day 2.

So I will be reading pride and prejudice next. I might start it tomorrow and as per the great percentages I got in pride and prejudice poll. I am imagining the book will be good. So let’s see.

That’s it for today. I hope to be blogging more and more.

#Today’s question:

Who has read this book?? How did you like it?? Is it good?? What’s the story?? Comment and tell me in the comment section.

  1. I have read both Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre.
When you read P&P, it is good to remember that it was written and set in a particular era of British history. Society was very different then, and social standing was all-important. But it’s a great book, full of humour too.
    Best wishes, Pete. x 🙂

    1. I am not too excited to read P&P as it’s a romantic novel but now that you have read it, I will surely try it. What was the British era like?? Can you elaborate a little more? I hope you are true about the humour because I hate romance and this couldn’t get any worse right now. 🥴😞😤✌

      1. It is a romance, but it has a dark side too, and lots of humour. It is so well-written, it deserves to be a real classic. This is about that time in history here.

        1. Dark side??? Looking forward to this now. 😂 I will be the judge of how well written it is. But I must say, Pete. You have to try the great gatsby. The literature and writing skills of that book made me crazy. It’s so good. I will read this article later as I have to do more economics chapter now. 😞😭

          1. I have read Gatsby and seen the film too. F S Fitzgerald is very good at capturing the feel of a period in history. 🙂 x

            1. I loved the book but Scott lost me in the feel. The writing skills were so good but I am somehow confused about what to do about the review. It’s been so long, Pete. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! HOW ARE YOU AND OLLIE DOING??? MY GOD! I AM LOSING FRIENDS. 😭😭😭 I miss you guys. 😭😭😭

  2. I’m so happy you’re reading P&P next as it’s my favorite Austen book. Pete’s left some great advice as to what to keep in mind as you’re reading it.
