BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD || AWARD CEREMONY.

Awards… I have nothing to say about this thing because I just got nominated for it. Please let me do one thing right now; AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! This is a prestigious thing to get. I am super happy. Ok, enough ranting.

Award nomination this time of the year is very common and great. Awards are given out to by nominating favourite blogger. I got nominated by Nikita @Prose and Pancakes. If you don’t check out her blog, you are missing out on the biggest thing in the world. But let me warn you that she is crazy.😜 Allow me to rant my head off ahead today.

Hello and welcome to my blog: @ Magical BookLush

Before I start my blog, I want to sincerely thank my crazy friend Nikita for nominating me. Thank you, Nikki. Love you and your blog.

Rules:

1. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.

2. Write a post to show your award.

3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.

4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

5. Select up to fifteen bloggers you want to give this award to.

6. Comment (or pingback) on each blog to let them know that you’ve nominated them and provide a link to the post you’ve created.

For myself.

1. So, how did I start my blog???

I started my blog because I was messed up. That’s the truth. Suddenly shifting from Africa to India messed me up totally. With my grandfather gone, my life and house were turned to a living disaster. The haunting of the past and the loneliness of the house started eating me from the inside. I felt all alone with only my books to accompany me. Before I didn’t even know about blogging but I was doing some research on a project when I found out about this wonderful world.

There is also a side story. Being the only child, I had nobody to share my thoughts on books with, so I started blogging. 😁Blogging makes me feel complete. It is full of fun because I read more now, I also have some great friends and I have officially told people how crazy I am by writing here.

Had fun reading such a long paragraph?? Please don’t unfollow thinking I am a depressed child. I am a crazy one. Trust me, people run away from me. 😜

My advice to new bloggers.

Follow your dreams. Do what you like, people. Write whatever you want. Live however you want to. It’s essential/important/obligatory to stay true to yourself and your readers. Don’t write because it is an obligation. Write because you want to…because you love to write. It’s okay to stop writing and take a break. Treat your blog like a diary and note every moment of your life in it. Be open to yourself and everyone around you. Accept changes and NO!!!! DON’T CHANGE WITH IT!!! Be who you are. Fame, name and life should never change your true personality.

Be shameless!!! Don’t judge your writing and don’t compare yourself with others. Be yourself and if that means you are being shameless and stupid, be that. The world needs bloggers like you, bloggers that are open, that are free writers. Be firm in your opinions. Don’t get scared of trolls. Ask other influential bloggers for help. This is a big community and a really nice one too.

One last thing, if you can, write on important issues. If you are writing, why not make a change?

Write to better the future too. Fight for things that can make this place a better world for our new generation to live. Remember with the power of a pen, we can change the world’s aim.

Well, I had my talking. Now I would like to nominate a few people. By nominating them, I just want to tell you that I love your blog and you. So here they are:

  3. I hate changes, and it’s the worst when you have to change your surroundings all of a sudden. No wonder you felt sad. I’m glad that you started blogging though! πŸ’“πŸ’“ And I love your advice, Suzie!! πŸ’“

    1. Well, you can’t relate to me and that makes me sad. Although it is bad and shaky for a person to change all their surroundings and come to a house where one most important person is missing. I did feel really sad. I am glad I found a half-cracked nut that needed to go to Agra but is in Delhi. Is there any mental asylum there?? You could go take a selfie in one of the wards for a few decades😁. Which advice did you like more?? πŸ™‚πŸ™‚βœŒπŸ’—

  4. I don’t participate in blogging awards as a rule, but will happily answer the questions here in the comments, as I appreciate your kind nomination.
So, let me know your questions, Suzan. πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete.

  5. OK.
    1) I started my blog when I retired from work. I had the time to do it, and wanted to keep my mind active. A friend suggested I start a blog, and I’m glad he did. πŸ™‚
    2) Advice to new blogger.
    a) Don’t expect blogging to happen overnight. It takes time and effort to establish yourself as a blogger in a community.
    b) Engage with other bloggers, and don’t stop blogging as soon as you think nobody is reading. Remember a), and stick with it!
    Those are my answers! πŸ™‚
    Best wishes, Pete. x

    1. I am so glad your friend suggested this blogging idea. I couldn’t be happier. You are like family Pete and it would be incomplete without you.
I totally agree with your advice, my blog started working these 3-4 months before that it was a dark time. I felt bored and didn’t want to blog but then I continued and here I am. 😁

that is true Pete, my blog doesn’t get many views but I do get many good comments from you and other bloggers and i am satisfied with it. As long as we are all together nothing should stop us. 😁😊✌
Loved your answers, Pete. Really enjoyed them. Sorry for the late comment. My board exams are coming near and I am freaking out with overloaded work. πŸ˜πŸ˜–
