More sweets time!!! But this time it’s my family giving sweets to my dad’s sister. We decided to give hampers instead of a single sweets box. So here goes another mouth drooling segment of my blog.
Hello and welcome to my blog: Magical BookLush.
I will put up pictures of my hampers and show you the sweets inside with their dish and description. Don’t drool. π
They contain;
Rasgulla is made of pounded cottage cheese dough that is carved into small balls and put into simmering sugar syrup. They are very delicious. Yummier than that cheesecake that you show delight in eating.
It is made of a thick syrup consisting of sugar, milk and water, that is added to gram flour and normal wheat flour and then mixed and set into a box-shaped container to settle it. It turns out flaky and is the most delicious thing on earth. It has a lot of flavours. ππ
It is a recipe of dry snack made with chickpea flour and potatoes. It is a daily snack in all Indian houses and a must-serve with tea in all Indian families when guests visit. Mostly because its the cheapest snack but also because it’s tasty. It has a tangy and spicy flavour that melts in your mouth as soon as you eat it.
Want some?? Sorry, you are very far from India. π oh, I love teasing all Non-Indians.
Want to know what heaven on earth feels like?? Eat this. It’s a really spicy and tasty recipe made from gram flour, soya flour and refined flour that is covered in spices. That is mixed and then fried. It’s so delicious. I actually want to have some now. π
This is a royal mixture that contains a lot of nuts and raisins and dry fruits. It’s very expensive but very tasty. All of these ingredients are sauteed in a lot of spices. When tasted its like eating a piece of paradise. This is by far the best snack in Indian history. ππ₯°
Now my mom’s mother and her family were given the same thing but the pack was smaller and it didn’t contain
My mom’s family got more snacks because they don’t eat many sweets.
They have an addition of :
This looks just like a lot bhujia and is made using the same ingredients and spices but the taste mainly focuses on lemon. It’s tangy and sour. As the name suggests because Nimbu means lemon. It’s sour and tasty. It’s definitely worth trying.
BONUS!!
It was served to my family when they came to visit us today. It’s made of bottle gourd pulp, milk, sugar and lots of love. But there won’t be love if its brought from the vendor, then it will be sweat. π
