TAUNTING ~ BODY-SHAMING PART II || REAL ISSUES’ QUIP.

Taunting, one of the biggest problems worldwide. People face this everywhere and when they talk back to it, they are the bad ones. It’s like you did nothing wrong but taunting is important. People just taunt you whenever they feel like. You are talking something and boom!! It comes up. Do you think I am joking? All around the world every day we all are somehow, in some way taunted for something we did unintentionally and trust me on this, that it feels bad. Very bad.

Allow me to elaborate with examples and some comebacks.

Hello, everyone. As I have been saying to all my viewers you cannot be welcome to the real truth. It’s hard to digest so unfortunately, you are not welcomed to my blog but do read ahead.

So let’s start this blog, shall we??

What is up with people and taunting?? Tell me, do you enjoy taunting people?? Is it fun?? Do you feel really good, just like you would feel if you got a promotion or your mother-in-law died??

Yeah, some women feel happy if their mother-in-law dies. I would feel happy if those taunters died.

Taunting hurts the most when it is about the character, personality, behaviour, attitude or in short and overall about the body and the person with a head, brain and mouth on top of it.

I go through taunting every day. Even my maid in the house taunted me today. I am like “what?????”

Let me just show you the taunts people get on their body and its characteristics.

1. The Hey, you are fat but I won’t tell you directly taunt.

“Hey, you are growing big, huh, you should eat a little less.” Then to cover it up so that your mother doesn’t kill her, she adds, “No it’s good that you are healthy but you have to maintain, you know, boys these days like slim girls. Besides, it’s not good for your health, you can get diabetes, cholesterol…” And then, she names all the diseases that we can get because, umm…excuse me, the woman has practice and a similar agenda as all the aunties in the world have and that is to make everyone slim, even if she looks like the biggest Halloween pumpkin in town. She could literally win the biggest pumpkin of the year award if sent in a pumpkin competition.

That was torture number 1, let’s go ahead.

2. The I hate your character, freedom, happiness, enjoyment and everything on earth that is by far related to you but I won’t judge you at all.

These are by far the worst aunties because they target you on everything. It may be the way you wear clothes on your body, talk to boys or even the main thing coming home late even if you came home late because you were at college stuck with extra classes. They want to judge you. Make your parent doubt on you even if their daughter smokes cigarettes. It doesn’t matter to them, all that matters is how to destroy your life.

“Oh, hello dear, you are very late, everything ok?? You were at college until now. It is open until 10 pm. Kids have got advanced and so have colleges. I hope your mother is okay with this.

The problem with these taunts isn’t that it hurts our feelings. It’s that it’s baseless. If we are fat, we are fat and if we come home, late we come home late. You can’t change that but the least you can do is stop ashaming us for who we are.

A taunt looks like a trivial matter but it’s a very big and major issue. In many colleges, ragging is not allowed but they are allowed to taunt. Just a taunt is enough to make a person hate themselves. Those insults are so dangerous to victims that they sometimes break down.

I have written about a lot of things but body-shaming is one of the main issues that I want to write more about. Today I was taunted because I fall sick alot. I don’t have good immunity, is that my fault?? You have no right to comment about anyone and there is no unless in this. NO TAUNTS!!

Nobody gave you the right to say, “Hey, you are a fatty piece of beef.” No, none of your ex victims did, none of your future victims will. If they mess with you just tell them:

I am who I am like me or hate me but don’t mess with me ’cause if I end up messing with you, you won’t like yourself.

Be yourself, people. Because you are beautiful. Fight for yourself. Because you need to stop staring on the floor when you are body shamed. I am proud of your personality even if I don’t know you. Because I know you went through all that and are still going through it. I am Proud of You.

If you taunters are reading this, read this very carefully and make it echo loudly in your head.

Enough of your taunting and judging our bodies. We are coming back for you now.

My character, my choice.

My body, my life.

My life, my rules.

I know this post is not as good as the last body-shaming post but I am not here to enhance posts. I am here to make a better future for every little child in playschool who will one day go through this and I don’t want that to happen.

Join me in this campaign. If you are a WordPress reader, reblog this on your site and social media. If you are not, just share it with your family and friends, show those taunting aunties that it’s time for us to haunt them.

Use #getlostbodyshamers to write your experiences. Comment me and tell me your taunting experiences. I will be doing more body shaming posts. I want this shit over. Nobody is allowed to comment on you except you.

Like, share and follow my blog for a big fight battle ahead. This time it’s not a strike with posters, it’s a strike with words.

Thank you for your valuable time.

    1. Really you haven’t?? That’s so good. Yes, we have maids. New in Uk or America?? I don’t know where you live. Sorry. 😁✌🙂

      1. I live in England, Suzan.
Maids are almost unknown here, except for people who are incredibly rich. 🙂

        2. Hey Pete, you ever saw someone who was taunting another for the body and character?

  2. Somehow I missed this yesterday, but then I was doing laundry because I DON’T HAVE A MAID! Just teasing!😉 While I have never actively taunted anyone, there was an incident when I was in high school where I stood silently while a mentally disabled girl was taunted about her physical appearance. It’s been almost 40 years, but I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself.

    1. Maid!!! Even Pete was teasing me. 😭😭

See that’s what I am talking about. I am serious about stopping this stuff. Its a real shame. People don’t understand other people’s problem.it’s not like they wanted it but they got it so let them be happy. That’s really bad Kim. You didn’t stand up because you too were afraid they might hurt you. Its okay Kim. You couldn’t do anything then. Do it now. Tell people about this campaign. Share it, publicize it. We can’t go to people but they can come to us for help. And please Kim next time you see something like this happening. Fight!! Not for yourself but for that poor person’s soul.

      1. Since that incident I have made it a point to go out of my way to step in if I see someone being bullied. Sadly, even in the adult world it happens far too often.

        1. This kind of torture can happen just on the way but it is mostly at schools and colleges. I personally have gone through this and still, sometimes I am taunted because I had cancer. It’s not easy, trust my word on that. Body shaming starts at a taunt and ends in a burial ceremony. I have seen many teenagers die of embarrassment. In Africa, it’s a common thing. You can’t take the torture there. They are too harsh and if you talk back, you are dead meat. So I know how this feels. How it has been happening for the longest time now. It hurts more than beatings. 😔✌

          1. I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through.

            1. It’s okay. I am through it. But I don’t want others to go through it too. So I will write until I can stop this. I hope I can stop this because it has to.

  3. This Society is the house to mix groups of people with different viewpoints and approaches towards life. We must love ourselves and do what we love doing, be it wearing the dress of our choice irrespective of our body type or the lifestyle we are happy with. At the day end, it’s our life and we have the right to lead the way we want. Suzan, you are stupendously fantastic in expressing such a serious thing in simple and lucid language.

  4. Taunting or the insulting remarks can damage someone mentally. It is important to love ourselves and put ourselves as a priority. One should live the way they want and that shouldn’t be on the terms and conditions given by someone else. Great post suzan.

  5. We should just not taunt anyone. We don’t know what he/she going through,we don’t know the situation then why judging? I really feel so bad when people taunting someone.
You made a right point here Suzan👏🏻

I can relate this with me. I was very lean in college and one of my teacher taunt me for my body weight. I feel very bad, so I start beinge eating and gain weight. Now that person taunt me for being fat. I feel very bad for myself and hate my body.
