Blogging usually takes you away from what you love that is reading, writing or any other hobby. As much as blogging is good it’s exhausting too. After a good amount of viewers per day, it is essential for the blogger to maintain his/her site and that’s where we get stuck. Allow me to elaborate.

Hey guys, welcome to my blog Magical BookLush.

This is a short blog just to inform all my viewers, commenters and fellow bloggers about my state of mind.

Writing a blog post every day + learning + personal time + chores = less time for reading.

As most of you know, I am a student so I gotta study and also I have chores to do around the house every day. Writing a blog is fun but exhausting too. After 3 hours of writing and finishing all the work, where do we get time to read??

The same is happening to me. I have no time to read these days.

You will think this is just an attention-seeking blog. Let me tell you this. I get 100 viewers per day, thanks to everyone but maintaining it is very hard.

This realization struck me on Friday when I had finished writing the announcements blog of next week. The time machine by H.G Wells is 129 pages long. It took me 3 days to complete the novel and that’s when I realized that my reading skills are rusting up.

I have a lot of things coming up this week with the festival of Diwali next week. I am sorry if I don’t reply to your comments soon but I really need to keep on reading to oil my skills back to normal.

So if you don’t get replies to your lovely comments please don’t feel bad. In the month of November, I hope life will be easier. I will be replying to your comments as soon as I can. Please forgive me for this.

Thank you for your valuable time.

  1. I’m really glad you said it! I totally agree with you. I do love blogging but it is very time-consuming and takes so much energy and effort! I often feel that I don’t read enough because of it. That’s what I’m feeling nowadays. I’ll try to catch up on reading and blogging during the Diwali break (most probably).
