Halloween is all about sweets and cakes and chocolates and costumes. I love Halloween even if it isn’t celebrated in India. We enjoy horror movies. Halloween for me is a cup of coffee and a horror novel in the morning and at night it is horror movies with creepy cakes. So let me give you some awesome cake designs that can not only creep elders but can also make children scream.

Creepy snacks make Halloween more fun.

Hello and welcome to my blog: Magical BookLush.

If you know how to bake cakes it’s easy for you to relate to my blog. Cakes are something that we all love but Halloween deserves some spookiness, doesn’t it? After baking a cake all you need is designing the cakes spookily.

So here I present to you, spooky cakes designs. Let’s start, shall we?

Cake designs. Everybody knows how to bake but do you know how to make your cakes creepy?

I know, maybe these recipes are very hard but I just wanted to show you how seriously some people take Halloween. That leg cake creeped me out. Some of them are very easy.

Now to the second easy video that not only has cake ideas but also other recipes.

Have a yummy feast and don’t forget to invite me!!

Note: As I am unable to do a horror book review this month (doing classics reading challenge). I will be adding recipes, DIYs and much more. So that will be my way to celebrate Halloween.

Do try these recipes and tell me how they were. If you have more ideas please share with me because I am kinda out of ideas now.

If you like my post, like it and follow me via email for latest updates. Feel free to reblog. All recipes are taken from YouTube (in case you want more ideas).

Easy way to my other posts: http://magicalbooklush.blog.

Thank you for your valuable time.

  1. That first picture looks finger-lickinโ€™ good. Iโ€™m sorry. I couldnโ€™t resist!๐Ÿ˜

    1. Neither could i. I laughed at first but then I posted it. I don’t know how to celebrate Halloween with classic novels. I can’t change anything. I am already getting hate for not giving animal farm 5 stars. Don’t want more trouble. ๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜‘

      1. Iโ€™m just catching up with everyoneโ€™s posts after the craziness of the past week. I just read your review of Animal Farm, but I donโ€™t recall seeing any negative comments. Regardless, we canโ€™t all like the same books. What a boring world it would be if we did.

        1. Tell that to my Facebook page followers. They are messaging and saying how can you give it 4.5. It’s the best book. I just shut them up by saying my blog my rules. But they don’t shut up. I think I need to add a disclaimer to my reviews saying if you don’t like my opinion get out of my site. ๐Ÿ˜ค

          1. Iโ€™m not on FB or Twitter, but thatโ€™s just silly.

            1. I use my mom’s FB to just promote my blog and now I am in a mess. I don’t wanna back slam them but if I do they will cry.

                1. I can’t help it. It’s like you can’t express your opinion because the book is famous. That’s not fair. What would you do at this time?

                  1. Iโ€™d add a not saying that debate is welcome but it needs to be respectful.

                    1. That’s a great idea. I will do that now. Even in my next review, I will do that. Although I am a little nervous I want to write about 1984, do you think this is a good time? Sorry to disturb you but I need a professional blogger’s advice.

                    2. I think you should review whatever you want, whenever you want!

  2. Ok then, coming up tomorrow is 1984’s book review. ๐Ÿ™‚ thank you so much, Kim, you were really missed. โค

  3. So Halloween hasn’t got to India yet? Unfortunately, it has been here for a long time now, in the American commercial sense that is. Long before that, we had Celtic celebrations, but now it is all about children getting sweets, and walking around dressed in costumes.
As you can tell, I’m not a fan. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
    The cakes look original though.
    Nice post, Suzan.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    1. It is not in India, the whole African continent, Dubai, Kuwait, to shorten it, it is only in America, Africa and Asia are not a big fan of it. This time of the year in India we have Navratri. You know what I will actually do a Navratri blog to explain the differences between continents. I can see you are not a fan but many others love Halloween. I myself am a Halloween fan because of the horror movie month. Do you think I should do an Indian festival blog post??

      1. Yes I do, Suzan.
You can tell everyone about the differences, and celebrate your own ancient culture in the process.
        Best wishes, Pete.

        1. Ok then, one of the most ancient traditions in India post coming up next week. This week is a bit tight scheduled. I hope you like it. Btw what is this decision time for Jenny blog that you write? I tried reading but got confused. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

          1. It is a very long fictional story, in the serial format. You have to start from part one, if you want to read it. ๐Ÿ™‚
            Best wishes, Pete.

            1. Oh, I will definitely try it. I am just starting my this weeks book review. As soon as I am done I will read your story. I might review it too. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™‚โœŒ

      2. When you have more time, you might like this one. It’s another long serial, compiled together all in one post. It’s basically an historical ghost story, about witchcraft. ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Definitely reading that. I really need a ghost story to boost me up. Classics are hard to read with tearful eyes ๐Ÿ‘€ . ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  4. I love it–I second By Hook or By Book’s initial comment. Kudos to the cook! Warmest regards, Ed
